2.4 is easier (well should be :-)) to install than 1.1.  
I think 1.1 had bbwarn.sh while 2.4 use bb-page.sh.
So you should be able to install 2.4, rename bb-page.sh
to bbwarn.sh unless you go back to bbd.c and rename
bbwarn.sh to bb-page.sh for the process name to fork.

These are in the files included in BBWARN 2.4.  No crap
about modifying bb.c/bbd.c/etc...

I don't think you should have any problems.  Just make
sure you set all the variables in bb-page.sh properly.

BTW, i'd install BB 1.08b instead on the BBPAGER
server. BBWARN is now part of the core BB archive.
