Well assuming that two clients create the DFOUT file
at about the same time:

client A creates DFOUT
client B creates DFOUT and overwrites client's A DFOUT
client A removes DFOUT
client B cats the DFOUT file but client A has removed it !

Does this make any sense ?

It goes against the whole monitoring scheme to put everything
on a NFS mounted drive.  The NFS mounted drive becomes
the single point of failure of your whole monitoring
environment...

I strongly suggest using local directories...
