{bb} BigBrother Stats, cause for concern?

Hi,

I tried a search for BigBrother on freshmeat.net (A searchable archive or
OpenSource programs), and found the following:

BigBrother Stats 0.16
Rob Kaper - February 01st 1999, 09:03 EST
BigBrother Stats is a counter for websites and produces some statistics
based on the hostname of the visitor and the information from the
HTTP_USER_AGENT environment variable. Most browser types, operating
systems and countries are recognized, as well as some search engine bots.

The first announcement was for:
BigBrother Stats 0.07
Rob Kaper - November 16th 1998, 14:41 EST

I've mailed him, explaining about the potential confusion in the names,
but he hasn't had time to reply yet. (I'll mail a copy of my letter to you
Sean)

Now my question is, is this a name that's likely enough to get confused
with "our" BigBrother, that we should be tough on keeping it for
"ourself" or would something like asking for a link to MacLawran be
enough?

Note that I didn't include a contact address for him specifically to make
it slightly harder for anyone to jump the gun and start mailing him a lot
of crap which definitely won't help anyone.

Green screens to you all.
