{bb} BB 1.09: bbnet <client>:23 fails always where 1.08a did not

Hi to everyone!

First of all I'd like to say thanks to everyone putting effort in Big
Brother.
V1.09 looks great although I encountered a minor problem.
It looks like that bbnet delivers the right results on all ports (ftp,
smtp, pop-3 etc.) except for one:
bbnet seems to hang on port 23 (telnet) and then returns a negative
result afterwards.
It probes port 23 for at least 10 seconds per client while it'll take me
a couple of seconds to bring up a telnet connection manually.
This is rather surprising as I didn't have this problem in V1.08a.
Am I the only one in the BB community?
Just tell me if any additional information is needed.
