	There would only be a problem if everyone upgrades. I would still
like to see the default as on but it would make it more uniform if it
were off. For example in the bbhosts:

[IP]	[host] # conn ftp dns etc http://isp.net/

	It would flow more with how the server functions. Nothing else is
really turned on by default except for hdd space, messages, and procs.
Is ping as fundamental as these? I've never had much of a problem with
it over the year i've been using bb until recently, but it was my
fault. :) I don't think it would be that terribly difficult to make
the clientside/serverside changes. Based on what I've heard on this
list most people upgrade their clients as well as their server as a
matter of course during the upgrade of their netmon. I think either
would work. I think defaulting conn to off would be more prectical,
however. Requiring people to add conn to their bb-hosts.
