Did you add it to bb-hosts on both the bbnet and bbdisplay servers?

Did you wait a bit (5-10 minutes) to give the bbnet process time to test
the machine, and the bbdisplay process time to regenerate the page?

If you check www/logs on the display server, are there entries for the new
machine?

Did you stop and start the bbnet and bbdisplay servers?
 (shouldn't be needed, but it still helps sometimes:)
