Then do it.  Found at the bottom of every e-mail that the list server sends
out:

Make sure that you unsubscribe from the account you subscribed as.  The
problem you have may be that you subscribed under a different account than
the one you are using now - make sure that the mail is not being forwarded
to you from an old account or something.
