Vodaphone and telstra both offer automated paging services. You need to
contact vodaphone help and somehow convince them that you don't need to
buy their windows based paging software, but you do want to have the
paging service associated with it. Easily setup with qpage (which is the
way I did it a long time ago...) IMHO, Optus planned to offer this
within a few months and ran some trials on it (over two years ago now)
and we waited for it for a long time but eventually just bought a
vodaphone pager.... With vodaphone you need your own PIN so you really
need to ask them. If you get no joy ask on the aussie-isp mailing list
(if it still exists) and I'm sure someone will help you.
