{bb} Setting up e-mail messages on bb...

Hello,

I'm new to bb and working on the process of setting up bb to send me e-mail
when I get a "read status alert" but I'm confuses as to which are the
file(s) that
I have to work with and what is it that I need to do to get this
accomplished.

Are there any sample files that I can look into anywhere?
