That sounds good to me! It has the implications of both watching in the
sense of "looking out for", as well as "keeing an eye on." I think this
sounds better than including "you" in it:

"Der große Bruder passt auf auch auf."

Kurz und bundig. Are there any ex-Stasi members reading this, and if so, was
there a similar saying?
