The '#' is not a comment delimiter.  Directives are inserted after
the '#' to tell BB what to check in terms of network services

should be (only if only you have another BBDISPLAY running somwhere
else which does not seem to be your case so you shouldn't
have this line.)

summary   linename.columnname 172.24.4.17 http://172.24.4.17/bb/

I don't think you need a summary line
