Re: {bb} question about conn!

You don't have a server marked as BBNET in your bb-hosts.
BBDISPLAY is the webserver, recieving messages from all hosts running bb., but BBNET is the machine doing the pinging, telnetting and other methods of testing services on the machines listed in your bb-hosts.

You probably want BBDISPLAY and BBNET to be the same machine.
