RE: {bb} Purple screen of death
I removed the files, All is well now, once I again went thru and verified
that all of the suggestions were followed I shutdown and restarted bb all of
the servers and now everything is okay, Thanks to all of the brothers (and
sisters) for their assistance, The nice thing about getting into these
messes is that I learn so much more about the product with the aid of all
involved. In fact one of my associates was so impressed with the responses I
was getting to my queries that he is now going to load Big Brother on a
server at a major airline here in Atlanta. Kudo's to all involved.

You say you cleaned them... did you actually remove the files?
If you leave the empty files, that gives BBDISPLAY the impression that the
status for those machines is "null", and initiates the Purple level.
If you remove the empty files completely, then BBDISPLAY will pay no
attention to the removed machines, and other status colors will then work
for you.
