Can your Solaris system send out non-BB email?
You might find a clue or two if you run this command:
/usr/lib/sendmail -v myname@myserver.mydomain < /dev/null
You might also check to ensure your /etc/hosts file
specifies the fully qualified host name w/domain for its own
IP address. I've seen flaky interactions with other mail
systems when the Solaris host knows itself only by its
short name. My Solaris /etc/hosts files contain the long
name followed by the short name and associated aliases.
