good

yup, that's better

well, what you really want is user@sys.com:720 or set pagedelay to 720

I your case, i'd set pagedelay to 15 and set the user to user@sys.com
if you intend to use pagetype HOST.

I'd keep one server for monitoring and one for notification

nope,

basically, the BBPAGER hosts get all red/purple messages (and yellow
if defined both in pagelevels & pagelevelsmail). bb-page.sh always
start on any of those colors...

long list of hosts, it doesn't have to cross-reference to
bbwarnsetup.cfg

long list of recipients

that's probably even better

yup

nope

nope

How often is your BB screen red ?

What is causing the numerous notifications ?

is bb2.html full of purple dots ?

I'd first investigate the cause of the notifications, then try
to speed up bb-page.sh/bb-page1.sh.

Remember the goal of the game is to have a green screen at all
times ... Maybe you need to fix your systems first to reduce
your notifications.

BTW, on BBPAGER and the clients, what are the values of
pagelevels & pagelevelsmail ?

bye
