{bb} Ping Failures and Junk on screen

Hello everyone, I am am having some trouble with the reliability of
monitoring some hosts with BB.. I seem to get a regular failure of a host I
am monitoring every 10 minutes. It is a ping failure, each time though I can
still ping the host  via a standard Unix ping.

I have checked the bb-hosts on the both machines and everything is as per
the descriptions in the help files.

The second problem I have that I am getting a lot of what looks like
environment variables attatched to the bottom of my screens.  Yep I have
checked bb-hosts and the /etc/services file and everything look fine.

Has anyone had these problems and know of a fix.

BTW the monitor is at 203.37.203.195/bb if you want to see the problem first
hand.
