Looks like "FollowSymLinks" is disabled in your apache configuration
(as ist is by default in most installations).

To activate SymLinks is a security hole ... I managed it by creating
an alias /bb/ pointing to /usr/local/bb/www/

(and adjusting the permissions of this directories via the <Directory>
- directive. It's working fine :-)
