Sorry I cannot answer your question, I just want to warn you against ignoring an expired certificate. I tried with it once with a Lotus Domino server where I was not aware about an expired certificate - and got a lot of unexplainebel problems as the server just not want to do any https requests and it took me a while to look in the correct log ;-)
