RE: {bb} Time to Display message.



Gert,

Are you saying that you'd like to see the pages refresh more often than once
every 5 minutes?  Or the tests to refresh more often than 5 minutes?  Do you
want the clients to report more often than every 5 minutes?  Please note
that this will place quite a strain on your BBDISPLAY and/or BBNET (assuming
the RH 9.0 server is not performing both functions).  You may want to
consider splitting off your BBNET and BBDISPLAY servers into two separate
boxes if you wish to do this.

There is documentation to tell you how to increase the frequency of your
tests, if you wish it.  And the best way, in my experience, to increase the
frequency of your BBDISPLAY page updates is to use bbgen (which also has
quite a number of other useful features), which can be downloaded from
http://www.deadcat.net.  Read the README file or ask here for information on
increasing page regeneration frequency in bbgen.

Hi Bros,

We have a couple  of Windows NT4.0 server running BB 1.08b
They send the messages to a Linux RedHat 9.0 server (version bb19c).

What I want is shorter the time that te messages display's on the BBDISPLAY.


Have enyone any idea ?!
