Yes BB can be used to monitor Switches Routers Hubs PIXes and just about anything that Cisco makes. Using it with MRTG makes some very nice graphs, I would suggest installing and configuring a tool like MRTG or Cricket or the like, then verify that your results in MRTG are accurate (recall that you MUST use 64 bit counters for faster interfaces, i.e. anything running at more than 100 Mbps). Once you have satisfied yourself that MRTG - or whatever else you are using - works, then come back to this forum to discuss integrating MRTG with BB.

Im testing BB to see if we can use it.
We are going to run the server on a windows 2003 server.
Im questioning if, and how, I can use BB to monitor our switches, routers, etc via SNMP.
(All Cisco equipment).
