{bb} BB integrated with MySQL and/or Request Tracker

Has anyone successfully modified BigBrother (server) to store data in 
MySQL? I would like to at least keep a database of alerts, then I could 
write php or perl scripts to do statistics or make pretty graphs etc 
which we all know managers love ;-)  I'm thinking about setting up 
Request Tracker (www.bestpractical.com), and having BigBrother send a 
copy of after-hours alerts to RT, which would open a ticket that the 
oncall person could then close, escalate, comment on, etc.

Thoughts? Ideas? Comments?
