As suggested earlier, it will probably be easier to set up a separate
BBDISPLAY and hack the code (mkbb.sh and mkbb2.sh) to remove the linking
to actual status logs.

This would be a good case for CSS.
Feature request! Feature request!
Add class attributes to many of the elements so that styles can be applied
to them.

Yes. Set up the clients and testing but don't add them to the bb-hosts
file on your BBDISPLAY. They will still show up on the bb2.html page but
they won't be accessible from any other page.
You can also use a combination of page and group-only tags in the bb-hosts
file on BBDISPLAY.
It's your choice. "Choose wisely, for as the true Grail will bring
