Subject: {bb} MySQL checks?
Has anyone written or have any examples I can look at to check and
verify that mysql (or some other database) is up and running on that
server? I know the databases on our servers can be accessed by
telnetting to that server on certain ports, but I'm not clear on how to
translate that to a bigbrother extension. I'm currently reading through
ext-proto, but any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
shawn
