We use a custom build RRD script that is modeled after LARRD.  We call it 
LARRD-Apps.  You can log any data that has a number to report.  At this point 
we have used it to monitor hits and MB at the load balancer as well as the 
response times.  Get creative and there is nothing you can't graph.
