- Thread-topic: {bb} "unmatched" emails
BB has run amuck!
I know no one knew a solution to my problem, but it has worsened. They
are definitely unmatched because I get a code of 999999999999999. I'm
receiving it on other tests that were previously sending normally to the
email that goes to the ops/engineering list. I have not changed a thing
or added anything new. In fact, these tests have been in a burn in
period for over a month now.
These other tests are not sending a duplicate email as unmatched like
the first, but *only* sending an unmatched. I have to be missing
something. My current workaround is to send unmatched to the
ops/engineering list so everyone can see them. Other than the
999999999999999 code, these are legitimate hostnames that are in
bb-hosts.
I emailed the list once before about an error in BBOUT saying it's
couldn't move a logfile to another logfile. I have found a correlation!
Problem is we never found a cause for that either. The same questions
about multiple BBPAGERS or BBRELAY were asked, and I can assure there is
only one, because I set this puppy up and I alone do all of the
maintenance and changes. Perhaps it's getting confused about commas vs
periods? Why is it mixing them and putting a . before the hostname?
These are the same machines that are sending the unmatched results. This
just a small sampling, but I've had a lot even just today.

Only one BBPAGER, and no BBRELAY. This should be simple. And yet it's
not.
I'm so baffled.

Do you have any other BBPAGERs defined, either on the BBDISPLAY, BBPAGER
(if separate from BBDISPLAY) or the client?
Are you using BBRELAY?
