I had nothing but problems with Larrd as well. RRDtool was never a
problem, BB was never a problem but Larrd...took forever to debug to get
it to work.
It was never one single problem, just a host of path/permissions
problems I think.

If you do to deadcat.net and search for "Craig" you'll find his zip'd
Word doc of an overall BB install. It's built around Solaris, but covers
other OSs almost perfectly. Towards the end the is a basic LARRD
install. It should get you started. If/when you get the standard BBRRDS
etc errors in BBOUT or LARRDOUT, search the list archives. They are
almost always path related and almost always resolved already.
