What machine is this bb-bbexttab file on?  It has to be on kilwebdev2.kilroytravels.com to have any effect, or the "kilwebdev2.kilroytravels.com" part should be changed to the machine name you want to DO the monitoring (as opposed to the machine you want to BE monitored.)  E.g:

  myBBNEThost.fqdn: : kilwebdev2

That syntax is correct as long as the kilwebdev2 script is in the ext directory, which you said it is.
