RE: {bb} Odd Text in BBGen Tests
I am seeing the same display as well, and I do in fact see it on the HTML
status page. When I view the source for the page, it shows the following:
green <!-- [flags:OrdasTILe] --> Thu Aug 26 15:27:21 2004 ssh ok
Since it is using < and > instead of < and >, the browser will display
the actual symbol and not view it as a comment.

It's normal - it is the way bbgen gets info about the test e.g. to pick out
what set of icons to use for the display.
You should not see them on the HTML status page, since it should be seen by
your browser as an HTML comment.
If you don't like them, run bbtest-net with the --no-flags option.
