Hello Henrik,
your new bbgen 2.16 is very useful.
Especially for internal documentation the bb-csvinfo suite.
Thank you very much for that.
I have different classes of machines to monitor
- server, storage systems (EMC Clarrion), SAN-Switches etc.
To document them, i would like to use bb-csvinfo.*, but with
different csv files, because i need a different information inside
- server: applications, etc
- storage: LUNs and assignements
- switches: port configurations and connected hosts + HBAs
To document this, is it possible to enhance the docurl feature
for bbgen to have also host specific docurls beside the standard docurl via
command line?
for example in BBHOME/etc/bb-hosts
10.10.192.1 host1 # DOCURL="$CGIBINURL/bb-csvinfo.sh?db=hostinfo.csv&key=%s"
# no DOCURL - using standard docurl from command line
10.10.192.2 host2 #
10.10.193.1 storage-system #
DOCURL="$CGIBINURL/bb-csvinfo.sh?db=storageinfo.csv&key=%s"
10.10.194.1 switch1 #
DOCURL="$CGIBINURL/bb-csvinfo.sh?db=switchinfo.csv&key=%s"
What do you think about this ? To complicated ?
Thanks in advance
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
