RE: {bb} MYSQL and BB

Which version of BB are you running? Did you patch your bbd with the
appropriate patch? Did you recompile it and replace the current bbd
with it? Did you put the correct "host username password DB" entries
into the bbd.c file after you patched the bbd.c and before you compiled
it???

Subject: {bb} MYSQL and BB

Hello All,

I am trying to integrate MYSQL with BB. I have followed the instructions
from BB_MYSQL_1.3.gz from www.deadcat.net According to the read me file
I have done everything and there are no errors. A table has been created
in the MYSQL database but there is no data in it.
Should I configure BB to send data to the MYSQL? Please let me know what
I should do?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance,

It depends where you put things. The bbdef-server.sh is run before
bbsys.local, so by putting settings into bbsys.local you are certain
that they wont be overridden by a script that runs later in the setup
sequence of events.
