RE: {bb} sms hardware requirement

Hi..dear gurus.. thanks

I have just installed a Modem in my FC2.  I used
minicom to test the modem.  When I type minicom, it
state modem has been initialised.  then I enter a
windows state I am online .. what can I do next to
surf net or connect to internet to prove that the
modem is working?

Regarding the smsclient, may I know whether it is
service provider dependent?  As I found the country
that I stay now is not list in the provider list
-Singtel-Singapore. Does it mean that I can't do sms?
