RE: {bb} smsclient.org with BB ??

Hi Steve,

For my case, I'm using a GSM modem connected to my BB server using
serial cable. You need a SIM to be able to send/receive SMS.

Though the SMS Server Tools supports incoming SMS (for SMS
acknowledgement), but my script (BBext-SMSv1.0), currently, does not
support SMS acknowledgement.

SMS Server tools supports quite a number of devices
(http://www.isis.de/~s.frings/smstools/hardwarecomp.html)

For my case, I'm using Wavecom Fastrack (M1203A-ON) with no problem what
so ever.

SMS Server Tools is an excellent piece of art base on putsms and getsms.

I'm not sure how much a GSM modem cost. Should be around the same price
as a normal HP.

Regards,

- If I'm me, and you're you, then who are we? -
