Please advise...

 

When the bb sever goes out to the client and check things you are monitoring please explain how they verify the following:

 

ftp                    "do they ftp to the port to see if the process work or see if the process is running?"

smtp                "do the check to see if the process is running?"

telnet               "?"

ssh                  "?"

conn                "They ping the device to see if it alive"

 

I have been getting e-mail and pages and these process are running and there is no problem.   I'm just trying to figure out what do I need to do.  I stop and restart bb and still the problem exists.  I'm running 1.9C.
