RE: {bb} Which flavor of Linux?

I support Windows systems too, but I highly recommend Linux.
My original BB server was on Red Hat, but we recently switched to Suse.
I've never had to touch my system except for file maintenance and the
bb-host file.

Subject: {bb} Which flavor of Linux?

Hi There,

I'm a Windows guy at heart, but have some Solaris experience. I've
been asked by a client to setup BB4 on Linux. It's a small shop,
couple dozen machines and network devices.

I've never touched Linux before, but I'm fairly comfortable in
Solaris, so it won't be a whole new world. But any thoughts on which
flavor of Linux? The only requirement from the client is that it run
on Dell or IBM hardware, have support/subscription services (required
for a state contract), and play well with BB4. I'm also looking for
something that will install easily, and good documention

I was thinking of buying a Dell with Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 3?

Thanks,
Shane
