You'll find as many recommendation as Linux users.

Anyway, if you consider a switch to a free software distribution,
don't forget to think whether you want something completely free, from
the start to the end.

Several, if not nearly all, Linux distributions are indeed commercial
products with some non-free parts and for sure with commercial
interests behind them (the Redhat recent strategy change is a good
illustration of this).

For all these reasons, you may want to consider the choice of a
distribution built by users and administrators for users and
administrators, with a strong guarantee of no possible switch towards
a commercial strategy.

I let you guess the one I'm talking about...:-)
