The original poster didn't mention anything about using bbgen, so
I was responding based on that assumption.
bbgen 3.0 does have some issues that have been discussed here on the
list, especially related to name lookups and the number of concurrent
tests being done. I would recommend getting bbgen 3.1 to take care of
the name lookup issues (especially if you have hosts listed in a local
/etc/hosts file), and for the concurrency issue you can start by
adding "--concurrency=32" to your bbtest-net command in
$BBHOME/bin/bb-network.sh
