ok, I was a bit annoyed when I saw your post because it *sounded* as
if this issue was something you had known about for quite some time
and just kept to yourself. I've calmed down now ... I'll probably do a
3.2 release in a few days, since I consider this a rather serious
issue - this kind of error that only happens occasionally and
seemingly strikes at random is the worst to debug.

Me too. Although thinking back I have noticed a few more random
"blips" in the conn-tests showing up these past few weeks, but
we have had some major networking problems so I haven't really
thought about it as possibly being a bbgen bug.
