{bb} BBGEN Performance

Hi All

I was reading the the bbgen-intro on bbgen-3.0 and I was wondering how I
could gather data like the one found in the bbgen-intro man page.

"Historical note: The 350 hosts / 5 seconds was  in  January
     2003.   At  the release of bbgen 2.16 in August 2004, I have
     1638 hosts, 121 pages  -  bbgen  builds  all  of  it  in  20
     seconds,  or  30  seconds  when updating the info- or larrd-
     page"

I like to gather similar data to impress my boss. My boss is the process
of deciding one company wide Network Monitoring tool and these data will
help

I currently am using bbgen3.0 + larrd on a Ultra 5 + 1 33Mhz cpu + 128
MB ram + 9 gig to monitor about 300 hosts all over the country. It is
performing very well and I put the logs in RAM
