{bb} content under bbgen 3.2

OK, 
so our web master likes to use relative tags...which explains why the
content check under bbgen 3.2 shows up green but with broken images &
links. In other words, bbgen works exactly as it should!  

Now, given my scenario in which getting the webmaster to not use
relative links ( but it is soooo much easier! )will not likely
happen,  is there a way to make the bbgen network test check content
based on ip? so it will yank down the content (like an absolute
link)?
