{bb} BB 1.9e client and bbgen

How should I install bbgen with a AIX bb client installation ? I asks me
all the server questions but since I do not want to install the server I
answer blank. At the end it fails.

I am unable to patch the bb files using the patches in the client dir. It
responds no patch files found.

triton # ls
bb.c         bbrun.c      bbstat.c     Makefile     README       utils.c
bb.h         bbsend.c     getipaddr.c  minimake     touchtime.c
triton # patch -p0
< /tmp/bbgen-2.15/bbpatches/1.9e-client/bbd-features.patch
Processing...  I cannot find a patch in there anywhere.

What am I doing wrong ? or is it wrong to have bbgen on the clients ?
