The only reason I've set up Big
Brother is so I can get e-mail notifications when a server goes down. I have
the BB-Display running fine, it shows all the hosts and everything. And I
believe I have bbwarnrules.cfg properly configured: I want all warnings to be
sent to me by e-mail so I did this:
*;;*;;*;*;jefflyon@sasquatch.com
But that
doesn't work. I know my sendmail is working properly, although I'm not sure
about /usr/bin/mail ... When I try sending myself a message via the "notify
administrator" function in the big brother web display, it takes forever to
display the "message sent" page and nothing comes through.
I don't know what I could be doing
wrong. This is Suse Linux 9.0 Pro, if that helps.
