Basically, if URL A is not returning the correct MD5, I want cont but not http to go red, and I want the http test to *only* depend on URL B.
As long as URL A does respond - i.e. returns any kind of HTTP response that is OK - it will not affect the color of your http test. Whether the "cont" test is green or red then depends solely on the content of the webpage being returned.
URL A doesn't respond, though. I'm using the cont test to monitor ColdFusion, which will sometimes die (although the program is still actually running, so procs or svcs tests won't detect that it's dead). What will happen in that case is that HTTP requests for ColdFusion pages will time out, but HTTP requests for non-CF pages still work fine. So I currently get HTTP pages if IIS *or* CF goes down. It'd be nice to be able to distinguish between the two from the BB message on my pager.
