Thanks to your suggestion, I made a quick edit to the vmstat-bf.sh 
script that checks for a /etc/redhat-release file and changes the name 
according to what it finds, and it looks like it's working.  I know it's 
a dirty hack, but it seems to be doing the job.  :D
