The www/logs/ files show the current status of the tests, in HTML
form, and essentially they can be deleted right away with no ill
effects - as new status-messages arrive, they will be re-
generated. If you wipe the directory clean, they should re-build and
be up-to-date in 5 minutes (the default cycle time for the BB tests).

The www/hist/ files (really ? I've never seen the hist/ directory
below www/ - but that could be something from the very old versions)
contain historical information about what has happened since
measurements started. Basically, they are text files with one line for
each time the status changed color. They are time-stamped, so if you
don't have the "bbprune" tool that is in newer BB versions, you can
just edit them and delete from the beginning of the file and as far
down you want to, based on the timestamp. You should leave at least
one line, though.
