{bb} Newbie question

Guys,

I am not a html person but am trying to use some scripts from deadcat bb-moracle.sh to monitor certain aspects of the environments I support.  However, in the output sent to big brother there are tags displaying.  How can I keep the html tags for formatting but have them interpreted and not passed as in:

<b>=============== <i>oracle instance check</i> ================</b>
