Re: {bb} Ack an alert if no page?

I have some tests that can go yellow or red, and nobody will be

If is possible for them to acknowledge a yellow/red condition, even if
there was no e-mail/page.

Ack numbers (required to acknowledge a condition) are generated on a recipient-basis. No recipient = no ack number.

To do what you propose would require crafting a custom paging script (see examples in ext/pg) that keeps track of the condition (host.service) and the corresponding ack number and pushes that info some place where your NOC Ops can get to it (write it to a separate web page, make an RSS data feed out of it, email it to someone - but then just use a regular email recipient, etc.) They can then use the ack number to ack the condition.
