RE: {bb} bb-ack.pl

I found bb-acksh.txt and did what it said, and I no longer get usage errors. Sadly, it’s still not ACKing any notifications. It just acts like it does.

Subject: {bb} bb-ack.pl

Does anyone have any experience with the bb-ack script found on deadcat?

I put bb-ack.pl into /usr/local/apache/cgi-bin, verified that perl is at /usr/bin/perl, made sure $BBHOME is correct in both bb-acktag.pl and bb-ack.pl, and changed the location of bb-ack.sh in bb-acktag.pl to be correct.

Aside from it not loading the graphics for the links, the site loads fine and *appears* to ack things, but they never actually get acked after checking the boxes and clicking the button. The _javascript_ prompt asks me if I am sure I want to ack the notifications, I click OK, and the page asks me to wait while acknowledgements are sent. Then I see Acknowledgement Message is : Unspecified   Acknowledgement Delay is : 60    Acknowledging Code [2073010]   usage: bb-ack.sh [message]

Surely I am missing a step or have something wrong, as Big Brother never knows these as ack’d after this process. I can ack notifications through the normal ack link on each individual alert, so it’s not an issue there.

Is there a particular log I can look at to see where it’s failing? Obviously, it doesn’t kick anything to BBOUT. Thanks.
