Are you running bbgen with the --larrd043 option ? If not, then the
"trends" column is generated by the larrd-html.pl script so see how
that is configured.
If you are using the --larrd043 option, then check that you have
disabled the larrd-html.pl script as per the bbgen INSTALL docs.

You *could* do that, but I think it would be simpler to just setup
the remote location's bbnet server with two BBDISPLAY entries in the
bb-hosts file - one pointing at the BBDISPLAY server at the remote
location, and another pointing at the BBDISPLAY on your central
server.
Things begin to look a bit different if the remote location has lots
of BB clients installed; then it would probably be easier to setup
bbproxy as you describe, because changing the configuration for all
of the client installs would be a drag.
