Do you have full client installations for each or do you have different
environements and only one installation?
You shouldn't need complete installations for each "instance." You could
install the client in one location, then create a directory for each
instance containing a copy of the etc directory (and files) and tmp, then
symlink the rest of the directories in it (bin ext and runbb.sh).
Upgrading will be somewhat sloppy as you'll have to propagate changes in
the etc files to each instance.
