{bb} Perplexed

I currently am running bb1.9c (mostly because I have many SunOs systems so I am not sure if the Server/Client S/W will work with that)  I have two complete systems Classified and Unclassified.  The Unclassified works fine the unclass was installed before I was around and I am trying to get more use out of it. However,  the bb files were put on an nfs mounted file system for each and makes it almost impossible to get history.  So I was starting to install it locally on all machines.  I started with the BBDISPLAY which is also BBNET & BBPAGER.  When I move it it appears to startup correctly however it never updates the display I have changed the BBHOME in all places to no avail.  Any ideas?
